the paradise down the road from home

What was meant to be a day trip, turned into 72 hours of the most enjoyable adventure at our little paradise not far from home.

Happily removed from the daily duties back in reality. The few days where you just cant help but say “life’s amazing”. Like that that feeling when you put your favourite song on in the car on a road trip.

From granite mountains, native forests, rainforests to sweeping white, sun-drenched, sand beaches and coastlines.
The most clear, glittery, pristine sea just awaiting us and remote, rugged wilderness to explore. Panoramic views around every corner.
Surfing 4 hours on an empty beach, dancing around the beach boulders and swimming into coves.

Some friendly local kangaroos, wombats and emus. However, little did I know, emus are apparently quite dangerous (they have a tendency to charge), and there I was yelling “get closer” as I sent my English friend out to get a picture with them, as I sat in the car with the camera. Sorry Melodie!
She lives to tell the tale.
