The Story
So Far

Meet Sophie

I started Sophie Fletcher Designs in 2020 — what began as drawings on my own surfboards has grown into a collection of Australian-made decal stickers, apparel, and accessories inspired by the ocean, travel, and the feeling of doing what you love.

I grew up on Phillip Island, surrounded by surfboards, a small and supportive community, and plenty of waves. My days were spent in the ocean, sketching in notebooks, and traveling around Australia and the world for surfing competitions. Surfing taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of following what lights you up.

The Journey

For years, I competed on the World Surf League qualifying series, while also working as a surf coach and a mental health ambassador with Lifeline Australia and the Australian Institute of Sport in 2019. Sharing my own stories of challenge and growth through sport showed me how powerful creativity and connection can be — a lesson that still inspires everything I create.

Somewhere between competitions and coastlines, I started drawing/painting on my boards — little pieces of art that told my story. People began asking for them, and what started as a hobby quickly became Sophie Fletcher Designs. Today, I feel so lucky to call it my full-time job — creating art inspired by the ocean, travel, and the freedom that comes from doing what you love.

The Products

Every Sophie Fletcher Design starts as a hand-drawn illustration before turning into a sticker you can stick… well, pretty much anywhere you like! All designs are proudly made in Australia.

All stickers are printed on clear vinyl, so the surface colour you stick them to shows through the design. That means black-on-clear stickers won’t show on black surfaces, and white-on-clear stickers won’t show on white surfaces — so keep that in mind when choosing your spot!

The stickers are printed with high-quality, long-lasting eco-solvent inks and come with transparent application tape, making them super easy to position and stick.

They’re made tough — I surf 1–2 times a day with my own designs under my feet, waxing over them again and again, so smudges aren’t a worry. Just remember to give your stickers a little love and they’ll last for ages.
